Delete your account and data

This page applies to all Farha users, customers and service providers (business owners) alike. The platform is operated by مؤسسة فرحة فريدة, commercial registration number 7053223082. You can request deletion of your account and the data linked to it at any time. Here is how, and what it entails.

How to request deletion

Deletion requests are made by email, following these steps:

  1. Send an email from the address registered on your Farha account to info@farha.sa.
  2. Use “Delete account” as the subject line.
  3. In the message, state the name registered on the account and whether you have a business on the platform.
  4. We'll verify that the request comes from the registered email address itself. Requests sent from any other address are not accepted, to protect your account.

If you log in with a Google account, the registered email is that Google account's email.

What is deleted

  • Your account and login details, so it can no longer be used to log in.
  • Your profile: name, phone number, and city.
  • Your booking history on the platform.
  • The reviews you wrote.
  • For businesses: the business profile, its services and available times, and it is removed from the public pages.
  • Any other data stored in your account.

What may be retained

We may retain some data after deletion, to the extent required by the regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including:

  • Payment and subscription records for businesses, for the period the regulations set for financial records. Your card details are never stored with us; they're processed by the payment gateway.
  • Aggregated, anonymized statistics that can't be linked to you.
  • Whatever must be kept to settle an ongoing dispute or to comply with a request from a competent authority.

Retained data is not used for any other purpose.

Processing time

We carry out deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them at the email address above.

Deletion confirmation

Once deletion is complete, we send a confirmation to the same email address the request came from.
